Unveiling of our Refurbished Auditorium

As we move into our new season on for the Millbank Theatre, we have plenty of “New things” going on.

On Friday 10th October we unveiled the new seats to our members with a helping hand from Stephen Rea who took time to celebrate with us and to cut the ribbon at the staircase. We would like to thank our members who came to celebrate with us.

The following week we invited our patrons along to see our revamp and we were met with fantastic feed back, with lots of “ooohhh’s” and “aaahh’s”. Well done to Anne McCrudden who’s flair for interior design has brought elegance and warmth to the Millbank Theatre’s entrance way and auditorium.

For those that want to sponsor a seat for 5 years there’s a discounted members price of €150 per seat. For non-members it will be €250. If you wish to sponsor a seat get in touch with Trish.

Next Up at The Millbank

Coming up next we have “The Crucible” opening on the 30th October. Our dress rehearsal is on Monday 28th October. We would really appreciate if you could come along a support us in the dress rehearsal. Also if you could help spread the word of “The Crucible” that would be really appreciated, especially by those who are having their first outing as part of a Rush Dramatic Society production.

Tickets for the Christmas Panto “Entangled” are due to be on sale at the end of October. There’s already lots of interest for the annual Christmas Panto with queries coming in on Facebook – so ensure that if you are wanting tickets to book them as soon as they go on sale.

For our next production, we will be announcing it shortly. Keep an eye on “Readings” in our members section on the website for details of when the auditions are, there will also be a communication issued out.
