MSPA – OUR HOUSE

The Moore School of Performing Arts (MSPA) started teaching in Skerries in 1997 and teach both boys and girls aged 4-19 years. They teach a large variety of classes including musical theatre, creative drama, tap, contemporary and jazz funk dance, singing, jazz technique and exam drama (RIAM). They welcome new students every September. ‘Our House ‘ is being staged after a 10 day boot camp with a very talented cast.
Our House is a musical with music and lyrics by Madness and one song “It Must Be Love” written by Labi Siffre and a book by playwright Tim Firth. The show features songs from the ska/pop band Madness and was named after one of the band’s popular hit singles, “Our House“. Premiering at The Cambridge Theatre in 2002, Our House was the winner of the 2003 Olivier award for Best New Musical and has since gone on to tour both nationally and internationally to great acclaim. Through the music of Madness, writer Tim Firth explores the themes of love, family values, growing up, responsibility and dealing with losing the people that shape us.Book Now
The Crucible – by Arthur Miller

The Crucible is a 1953 play by American playwright Arthur Miller. It is a dramatized and partially fictionalized story of the Salem witch trials that took place in the Massachusetts Bay Colony during 1692/93. Miller wrote the play as an allegory for McCarthyism, when the United States government ostracized people for being communists.
