Covid-19 Update
Due to the government’s decision to place Dublin City and County in to level 3, the Millbank Movies unfortunately won’t be able to operate for the next 3 weeks.
We are disappointed in this decision. The arts sector has been hit hard again, making things very difficult.
For those who have booked already for “Portrait of a Lady on Fire” you can get a refund by emailing manager@millbanktheatre.ie , please quote your booking reference number.
If we can reschedule the Movies that were due to screen at a later date we will update the page here and our website.
We still plan on running with “Beyond” by Pat Kinevane & The Man in the Woman’s Shoes as these are not in the next 3 weeks. Should the situation change we will update on our site (click here for update) and our facebook page.

The Millbank Theatre is a not-for-profit organisation. There are other theatres and festivals who have been impacted by COVID-19. It breaks our hearts to hear about what other theatre’s and what others who work in this industry are going through.
he entertainment industry has been decimated by the Covid19 Pandemic. The industry is unique in that it is almost fully shut under government mandate. On September 16th, EPIC launch their Pre Budget Submission requesting a number of supports for the staff and businesses of the sector. One of the key things you can do to help amplify this message is to mail your TD. All you need to do is click on the link attached, select your constituency, fill in your details and hit send.
